Genre Notes

The Law Library maintains a brief list of genre notes used to group materials that could not otherwise be retrieved by their format. Cite the source of the genre term using second indicator 7 and subfield |2 for this information.

Whenever possible, use Library of Congress Subject Headings (|2lcsh) or Genre Terms for Law Materials (|2gtlm). The only locally supplied term currently in use is Theses, which was created before Genre Terms for Law Materials was published.
