Stanford Environmental & Water Studies Summer Program

Develop your expertise. Stanford’s Environmental Engineering program is at the forefront of the environmental and water studies field, pursuing the educational development of uncommon insight and expertise necessary for environmental leadership. Our 8-week summer program is designed for environmental engineers and scientists seeking to expand their knowledge and understanding of key concepts and newest approaches. The summer curriculum, a selection of courses drawn from our degree program curriculum, explores complex water and environmental problems and issues in past, current and future contexts. Comprising both Stanford students and summer-only visitors, our international audience melds diverse perspectives and interests with global relevance, and provides an extraordinarily enriching and enlightening learning experience. CSDGC Youth Leadership Programs

Stanford University, one of the best known centers of high impact innovation, is the perfect setting to stimulate idea development and engage in problem-solving in the globally urgent area of sustainability. This workshop focuses on introducing students to a broad scope of sustainability trends and issues (social, technological and economic), and seeks to help identify leadership opportunities connecting ideas to successful reality.
