Schedule

Participants will meet in the CCSR building, Room 4205 every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00. There will be 3 special topic discussion seminars on Wednesday - date TBD, led by class TA Dr. Gabriela Suarez-Mier. Class participants will receive a letter grade based on attendance, class participation, and the final examination score.

Classes will consist of discussion of assigned topics and the study guide questions followed by slide shows. Weekly assignments may be supplemented by video review, "handouts" from Dr. Green and journal club-type discussion of equine scientific papers. The emphasis of this course will be on a "problem-oriented" approach to horse medicine. The objective is to provide the class participants with exposure to common equine veterinary medical problems. Dr. Green's office hours are on Monday 1:30-2:00 pm or by appointment. Dr. Gabriela Suarez-Mier, the class TA's office hours are Wednesday from noon to 1:00 or by appointment.
