Week 3 lecture and discussion notes added

Salve Omnes,

Last Thursday’s lecture notes and discussion notes on cheating have been added to the site. You’ll find them under the January 22nd heading on the Schedule and Readings page, and the Discussion notes page respectively.

Also, watch this space for what you’ll be watching soon– due to file size limits, we’re figuring out the best way to give you access to some neat videos to watch on gladiators and the modern olympic games!

Paper 1 assignment, audio of breakout 1 now available

Xairete!

We hope you enjoyed the long weekend and are ready to get back into the athletic action this week.  We’ve just uploaded a bunch of new material that you’ll want to look at:

  • Audio files of last week’s breakout session— if you missed it, or if you want to relive the experience! There are .wma .m4a, and .mp3 files available.  Just right click on the file you wish to download and choose “download” or “save file.” Notes from the breakout session are also available under the class heading January 15th on the “Schedule & Readings” tab.
  • Lecture slides from last Thursday’s lecture are also available on the “Schedule & Readings” tab under January 15th.
  • We’ve created a new tab on the main menu for Discussions– we’ll be posting summary notes of what all of you said and asked in class!

Feel free to contact any one of us if you have any questions.
