Yi Cheng, Vice President and General Manager of Capital Department of Tianjin Binhai Zheshang Investment Group, and MBA PA Tutor of Shanghai Advanced Institution of Finance, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

From August 2019 to July 2020, Dr. Yi Cheng will visit the Center for Sustainable Development and Global Competitiveness at Stanford University to engage in research on innovation-driven sustainable development of listed companies, involving intelligent agriculture, energy conservation and environmental protection, high-end manufacturing and other fields.

In 1996, Dr. Yi Cheng graduated from Shihezi University with a bachelor’s degree. In 2006 and 2015, Dr. Yi Cheng received EMBA degrees from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, respectively. In January 2011, Dr. Yi Cheng went to Business School, San Jose State University as a Visiting Scholar for one year. In 2014, Dr. Yi Cheng studied for a PhD in Economics at School of Economics and Management, Shihezi University.

Dr. Yi Cheng has been a senior executive of listed companies and has accumulated experience in equity investment and asset reorganization. Currently, he is Vice President and General Manager of Capital Department of Tianjin Binhai Zheshang Investment Group, responsible for the equity investment and project management of listed companies and companies to be listed. Also, he is involved with guiding students’ career development planning, investment and financing optimization of start-up and innovation projects at Shanghai Advanced Institution of Finance.
