Biology 265: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology

This undergraduate course for life science majors provides an overview of basic principles in ecology and evolution, with a focus on recent advances, conservation and other applied issues, and the value of the Hawaiian environment in addressing ecological and evolutionary questions.

Zoology 499: Directed Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate students taking this course conduct guided independent research in ecology and evolution, in close interaction with me and other members of the lab.

Zoology 739: Topics in Ecology "Foundations of Ecology"

Designed mainly for graduate students, this course aims to develop historical perspectives on current ecological research through discussion on classic foundational papers and related contemporary papers.
