Here are some activities that will help to promote the Center and the innovations it produces:

Publicizing the products, processes and findings of the Center

Keep the news media, clinicians outside the Center, and key individuals in the disabled community informed about the progress of your work, especially whenever important milestones are reached.

Keep potential manufacturers aware of potential transfer opportunities that they may be interested in.

Providing technical assistance

Work in collaboration with the VA Central office in the preparation for field evaluations, including consultation with the contractor for the development of prototypes.

Work with manufacturers (who have agreed to manufacture a product) in order to assure that the product meets the criteria of quality and performance that you believe are necessary.
