The role of the Investigator
The RR & D Center is a reflection of the research and engineering
staff that make it up. It can only fulfill its mission if staff efforts
are consistent with the Center's goal statement. All professionals should
support the mission by giving serious consideration to the transfer of "their"
technology.
In addition to the recognition you get from working in your discipline
and the challenge that is inherent in scientific inquiry, you will find
great satisfaction if your actions contribute directly to the team
effort in the Center regarding technology transfer.
The following activities should involve some level of interaction with
the Transfer Officer (T), the Center Director (D), and colleagues or
cooperating organizations (C).
