Corporate Relations

Thank you for your interest in the Society of Black Scientists and Engineers (SBSE) at Stanford! The partnerships formed between SBSE and industry leaders provide our members with opportunities to interact and network with industry professionals. We at SBSE are always looking to strengthen current partnerships and to develop new ones!

Here are a few ways for your company to get involved:

Weekly Lunch Meetings
Companies have the chance to connect with the SBSE student body at our Tuesday Lunch Meetings, which typically consist of a presentation followed by a Q&A session, but will now include a Workshop Series. We encourage interactive presentations  or workshops and the presence of both engineers and HR representatives. Companies are expected to pay the cost of lunch and a service charge to offset expenses incurred.

Information Sessions
For direct recruitment of Stanford engineering students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, SBSE can help organize an on-campus Information Session.

Academic and Professional Sponsorship
Giving to the Stanford SBSE community in the form of academic scholarships and professional industry opportunities is mutually beneficial to our members and your company. It provides great public relations and gives your company the opportunity to partner with bright Stanford students. Scholarship events will be planned to your discretion.

Event Sponsorships
Increase your company’s community presence while networking with Stanford students through our many events. We also welcome sponsorships for our members’ participation in the NSBE National Conference and the NSBE Fall Regional Conference (Region VI).
