Notes
Although Green Cay is in Boyton Beach, there is no beach anywhere near Green
Cay. (I have not seen any Boytons either.)
Green Cay Wetlands is (are?) a bit of a drive - up the turnpike - from
Hollywood. But it is
free and it is beautiful! A wonderful series of wooden catwalks takes you
right out in the midst of the birds. Not infrequently, they will land on the
catwalk railing and fearly allow a very close-up glimpse (or photograph, as
it were).
After three visits, a clear routine was established: each Green Cay visit is
followed by a meal at Flakowitz - up the road.
