These are the images of Merlie with his breakfast on 14 March, 2002.

The Merlin (Falco columbarius columbarius) was imaged at a slant range of 86 meters.

Pentax FP-80ED / ScopeTronix MaxView 40ª (40mm) Eyepiece/T-Adapter /Canon Elura Digital Video (DV) camera. Elura operated in progressive scan/sports exposure at perhaps 8x zoom . I calculate that the 40 mm eyepiece sets the scope power at 12x. (where 8 mm = 60X). The equivalent "power" of the combined optical system is 96X.
