I have written a book entitled ``Social and Economic Networks,'' which synthesizes the literatures on the subject and is a resource for researchers in the area and a text for graduate courses. It is available Princeton University Press.

SITE - The Stanford Institute in Theoretical Economics
I direct
SITE, which is a series of
NSF funded conferences and workshops that are held at Stanford each summer.
The SITE web site is

A call for papers is posted each year in mid January for the summer series that year, and
the programs for the various segments of the series is posted in May. The conference segments run from mid June through August.

The NSF-CEME Decentralization Conference Series
I coordinate the
NSF-CEME Decentralization Conference Series.
The spring 2010 conference will be held at University College Dublin from April 8 through 10 and is being organized by
Jim Bergin of the University College Dublin and Tom Gresik of the University of Notre Dame, and will be jointly sponsored by these universities and the NSF-CEME. The conference will include milestone birthday celebrations of John Ledyard and Mark Satterthwaite, two long-term and prominent contributors to the series.
