ChemBioOffice Ultra 2008

Our current license for ChemDraw Standard expires on December 20, 2007. With the renewal, we are upgrading the license to ChemBioOffice Ultra 2008. The location and procedures for downloading software will remain essentially the same. See Swain’s ChemDraw page.

  • ChemScript Pro 11.0
  • ChemDraw ActiveX/Plugin Pro 11.0
  • Chem3D ActiveX Pro 11.0
  • GAMESS Pro 11.0
  • Databases: ChemINDEX Ultra 10.0 DVD Edition, and a one-year subscription to ChemACX Personal Internet Edition, and Ashgate Drugs 2.1 Personal Internet Edition.

Most programs are only available in Windows format. If technically feasible, we will make ChemBio3D available via http://cdserver.stanford.edu which uses a browser and a Citrix plugin in order to make the program accessible to Macs and PC users. CambridgeSoft’s Mac OS X Policy: “The current version of our Mac software was developed and released prior to the release of MacOS X 10.5. While we do not officially support this version of the MacOS yet, we are working closely with Apple to officially support it in an upcoming release. There is no release date at this time. We have done some cursory testing and we are aware that our 11.0 ChemDraw Plugin does not work in Safari 3.0 on OS 10.5.”
