- If the VA medical center becomes aware of the existence of the
possible invention prior to the contractor's filing of information with
the VA, they should forward all available information to the General
Counsel.
- The U.S. Government shall retain a nonexclusive, nontransferable,
irrevocable, paid up license to the practice of the invention.
- In the case of co-invention, the government employee is entitled to a
payment from the contractor equal to the greater of
- - $300 per year for each year of any royalty-bearing license
agreement executed by the contractor, or
- - the royalty payment as if to an employee of the contractor.
