Processes that are replicable and which can be implemented in practice

Processes represent those techniques that have been empirically developed and tested in the R & D environment and have been codified in such a way that they can be followed

Some examples:

There are many instances where new rehabilitation processes can be described in the literature and transferred if adopted by others. In some instances, processes may be codified in the form of a computer program. The distinguishing characteristic of transferability as it relates to a process is not characteristic of transferability as it relates to a process is not dependent on the nature of the medium by which it is conveyed. Rather, it is when the specific method or procedure is replicated by others to achieve similar results.
