Overview: 

Diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis can be challenging, and often relies on a combination of morphologic and functional tests. Secretin-enhanced MRCP is a non-invasive method of evaluating both pancreatic morphology and function that utilizes intravenously injected secretin to characterize the pancreatic ductal system and to stimulate pancreatic exocrine function.
