Project Assistance

Supported Software

The following trial software may help you create your class projects and is supported by Dena and Carlos (i.e. they can help you if you get stuck):

Macromedia: http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/
This site has links to 30 day trials for Dreamweaver, a webpage authoring program. There are also links to Fireworks, an image editing software, Flash, a complex multimedia authoring tool, and many others.

Adobe: http://www.adobe.com/products/tryadobe/main.jhtml
This site has links to 30 day trials of Photoshop (image editing), Premiere (video editing), Illustrator (illustration), and many other great pieces of software.

SoundForge: http://www.soundforge.com/download/step2.asp?DID=395
Some of you may already have this on your computer. If not, a free demo is available, but it does not allow saving files, or recording or playing long files and is therefore useless for everything but trying it out. If you do not have SoundForge, you may wish to use Premiere to put your sound together.
