Julia Bauman
PhD Student
Julia is a PhD student in Genetics. She obtained her B.S. in Neurobiology at the University of Washington, and subsequently spent a few years at the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard developing technology for image-based cellular phenotyping in genome-wide CRISPR screens. She intends to continue with genomics technology development during graduate school, now with a focus on dissecting the relationship between gene regulatory elements’ sequence and function.
