Chenchen’s current work focuses on understanding transcriptional landscape using novel sequencing technologies.
His major pursuits include defining the transcript isoforms in the context of human heart, and deciphering the causal link between transcriptional mis-splicing and dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).
In his past time as a computational biologist, Chenchen’s research has been integrating multi-omics datasets to identify causal mediators between genotype and complex phenotype using yeast as a model system.
