Kyle joined the Language Learning Lab in June 2010 after graduating with a B.A. in Psychology from Wesleyan University in CT. He is primarily interested in how children develop and use learning strategies to acquire knowledge about the world around them. While at Wesleyan, he investigated how children use information about a speaker's group membership and prior accuracy to guide their word learning. He is currently working on a new project that explores on-line processing and word learning in a visual-manual language (American Sign Language). His future plan is to pursue a graduate degree in Psychology. When not in the lab, he enjoys playing basketball, hiking and watching movies.
