Green Library closed on Labor Day: September 7, 2009

Green Library (and most campus libraries) will be closed on Labor Day, September 7, 2009.

Access to OPPIE and FlashPoint from LANL will end on August 31, 2009

The OPPIE platform developed by the Library at Los Alamos National Lab (LANL) which allowed users to search Biosis, Engineering Index, Inspec, and the three citation databases SciSearch, Social SciSearch, and Arts & Humanities and FlashPoint which searched the databases on OPPIE plus MathSciNet and PubMed will no longer be available to Stanford students, faculty and researchers.

No Printing or Copying in Green this weekend

Due to an ITS upgrade of the Campus Card System:

Printing and photocopying will not be available Saturday, Aug 8 thru Sunday, Aug 9.

For electronic documents, please email or save documents for printing elsewhere.

For paper documents, please use one of our scanners:

• Public: 1st Floor Green East, near the loan desk
• Stanford only: 1st Floor Green East, to the right of the green Ogham statue
• Stanford only: 2nd Floor Bing Wing, Lane Reading Room
