"IT's in the Cloud" is the theme of this year's IT Open House. More than 70 Stanford exhibitors and over 20 technology vendors will be on hand to talk with from 10:00 to 2:00 and an array of free talks, classes, discussions, and vendor presentations will acquaint you with Stanford and vendor initiatives. A prize raffle will put a silver lining on this cloud, with drawings at 11:00, 12:30 (for the Grand Prize), and 1:45. Finally, starting at 2:00 p.m., featured Stanford presenters John Mitchell, Professor of Computer Science and chair of the new faculty committee on educational technology, and Guru Parulkar, Executive Director of the Open Networking Research Center will speak about technology futures.
