On Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 4:00 p.m., the Stanford Libraries, in conjunction with Asian-American Studies, the Bill Lane Center for the American West and the Center for East-Asian Studies, will host a talk by K.W. Lee, journalist and activist titled "A Conversation on the Media and Race Relations with K.W. Lee, Journalist and Activist."

Ms. magazine co-founder Gloria Steinem will be on campus this week as the keynote speaker for this Winter Quarter's program Ms. @ 40 and the Future of Feminism. Steinem's keynote presentation is sold out but you can hear it on Stanford's student radio station, KZSU 90.1 FM, or online.
As part of Stanford's celebration of the 40th anniversary of Ms., there is currently on display in the lobby of Green Library's East Wing an exhibit featuring ten winning essays and the magazine covers that inspired them.
