Amidst extreme poverty, Haiti has a rich natural culture which is expressed through music, dance, voodoo and the generosity of its people. Read Culture and customs of Haiti or The history of Haiti among many other books in the library.
Stanford has developed a website about the 7.0 Earthquake that hit Haiti earlier this week, along with links to how you can help.

Only a few days left to see the selection of holiday books on display across from the Information Center Desk. These books can be checked out and include Christmas stories as well as information about Chanukah, Kwanzaa and other traditions.
