About

Jan Behrenbeck is a third year undergraduate student in engineering science at the Technical University Munich (TUM). His focus is on mechanical engineering. Jan participates in the entrepreneurial scholarship program Manage&More at the Center for Innovation and Business Creation at TUM (UnternehmerTUM) and does a lot of social work. He joined the DEL in October 2013 as visiting student researcher to write his Bachelorthesis on "The Influence of Prototyping on Engineering Education."

In his free time Jan performs in a jazz band. He plays the trumpet and the piano, but his passion is the flugelhorn. In Germany he plays in several bands (Big Band, Coverband, Duett). While at Stanford he joined the Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band (LSJUMB). Jan also plays soccer or hikes the wilderness.
