Fujitsu is a world-leading provider of business technology solutions. Throughout a span of 4 months, SPTC helped Fujitsu execute a general competitive analysis of the high-availability cluster software market. The SPTC consultants performed product comparison of Fujitsu’s PRIMECLUSTER software to that of its competition. As a side project, SPTC provided implementable ideas for employee motivation for the Fujitsu Sunnyvale office.
WePay is a startup founded in 2008, based in Palo Alto, CA. It provides a user-friendly service that makes it simple to collect and manage money online. SPTC worked closely with WePay on an outreach strategy to all segments of campus groups at Stanford. The SPTC team provided intensive consultation and executed brand-building efforts, as well as a comprehensive research on Stanford’s campus group organization and funding policies.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that builds houses and rehabilitates families and individuals in need, often relying on the kindness and donations of its partner companies in the community. SPTC helped Habitat for Humanity develop an innovative new committee extension for their Executive Board that enabled Habitat to more effectively utilize its network and engage diverse community leaders who might otherwise not had the chance to be involved in the cause.
Special Olympics Northern California is a developmental and physical disabilities nonprofit that provides services to more than 13,000 athletes in Northern California and more than 3,000 athletes in Nevada. SPTC developed strategies used to position Special Olympics in the online marketplace, specifically at universities, where social networking could be used to access a younger demographic, and encourage this younger demographic to contribute through an online donations vehicle.
