Brown Bag Seminars

Each quarter, WorkLife sponsors lunchtime Brown Bag seminars to support the Stanford community in navigating the demands of work and life. The workshops cover a wide range of topics from work/life balance to parenting, and elder care. Through a collaborative partnership with BeWell, Stanford employees can receive one Healthy Living Berry for attending Brown Bag sessions.  The WorkLife Office also provides adoption resource information to the Stanford community.  Please refer to the resource information here and contact our office at 650-723-2660 for further questions.

 

Financial Assistance Programs

The Worklife Office provides five financial assistance programs for Stanford employees. Eligibility and requirements vary by program.  Please see each individual program for more information. 

Maternity/Expectant Parents

Are you expecting a child or planning to adopt? WorkLife staff will meet one-on-one with expectant parents and provide various resources to help prepare for this life experience, including a maternity resource list, First 5 New Parent Kit and child care packet.

School Age Resources

WorkLife provides information on school age care, activities for teens and youth, and summer programs. In March, the WorkLife Office hosts a Summer Activities Fair providing Stanford employees an opportunity to meet representatives from local camp and youth programs to help plan summer activities.
