As a department of Stanford University, Schwab Catering clearly understands the culture of Stanford and the Graduate School of Business. Schwab Catering offers easy interdepartmental billing, is able to liaison smoothly with Stanford Event Services to take care of all your event needs and most importantly, keeps profits on The Farm. We feature seasonal menus prepared from scratch using the finest sustainably sourced, organic and local items. Our menus are authentic and true to the cultural and global flavors of the country of origin.
Stanford Dining has a strategic partnership with the Culinary Institute of America that allows our team access to the finest master chefs and training facilities in the world. Stanford Dining has also taken an environmental leadership role and was one of the first university food service operations in the country to be certified as a green business. We have been recognized by numerous awards, including the Acterra Award for Sustainability and “A” ratings in the College Sustainability Report Card by the Sustainable Endowment Institute for the past five years.

Catering Requirements

Minimum Service Order: Unless otherwise noted the minimum order is for 25 guests. For orders with fewer than 25 guests please inquire.
Meal Pricing: Unless otherwise noted pricing includes food, platters and/or chafers, serving utensils and compostables. Additional charges apply for delivery/pickup, servers and tableware (buffet linens, table linens, flowers, china, flatware and glassware). We do not provide tables and chairs. We are happy to assist you in ordering tables and chairs from Stanford Event Services.
Catering Orders: For Large and Special Events a signed catering contract with an event minimum guarantee must be received 15 days prior to the event. Final Counts are required in writing 3 business days prior to the event. For Smaller Catering orders 48 hours notice is required; orders must be received by 5pm two business days prior to event. For last minute requests please inquire.
Servers / Attendants: Please note, some menus require servers. The number of servers required will be determined by Schwab and is non-negotiable.
Cancellations: Any cancellations made after a catering contract is signed are subject to 75% of the total estimated food and beverage charges. Cancellations made with 48 hours are subject to 100% of the total estimate food and beverage charges.
Hours of Service: Service Hours are 7:00am–9:00pm. Any events held prior to 7am or after 9pm are subject to labor charges incurred at a rate of $60 per hour per server.
Bartending Services: Bartending Services are available upon Request. Please inquire for more information.
Additional Services: We provide a wide variety of services, including menu customization. If you don’t see something that suits your needs we are happy to design a menu that will.
Knight campus delivery/pick-up fee is $40.
Late Orders and Changes: All changes and orders made within 72 hours of the event are subject to availability.

Buffet Package: Standard napkins, flatware, china, water glasses, salt and pepper $10.25 per person plus $125 vendor delivery fee
Served Meal Package (for a 3 course meal):
