My research focuses on moral justification and decision-making. Some questions I'm currently investigating include: Will people go out of their way to do something moral when they anticipate doing something immoral in the future? How and why do people do things that seemingly contradict their moral values? Do people believe they should make moral decisions by relying on intuition or by carefully considering both sides of the issue? When are people willing to admit their bad deeds?
