Teddy in the Garden
New Guinea Sculpture Garden
The Department of Anthropology is co-sponsoring a reunion/social gathering for Teddy Balangu, who was one of the original sculptors that helped create Stanford's New Guinea Sculpture Garden. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 6-8pm at the New Guinea Sculpture Garden. Light refreshment will be served and there will be a lot of time to revisit the sculptures as well as a chance to meet Teddy and to get the creation myth stories about his works straight from the source. Invitees include Anthropology students, staff and faculty, as well as members of the public who participated in the creation of the Garden.
