I am currently in the Ph.D. program of Statistics at Stanford University. My advisor is Professor Iain Johnstone. Generally speaking, I am interested in statistical methods for high dimensional data. In addition to theoretical research, I also have fun writing software packages and working with collaborators on consulting projects.

Before graduate study, I got my B.S. degree from School of Mathematical Sciences at Peking University, China, majoring in mathematics. My degree thesis there was supervised by Professor Zhi Geng, who first brought my interest into statistics.
