				Yoshifumi joined Stanford University after working for 10 years in the Japanese Construction Company, <a href="http://www.kajima.co.jp/welcome.html" target="_next">Kajima Corporation</a>, where he is a senior coodinator in the I.T. Solutions Department. He worked on the evaluation of strong ground motions, the analysis of soil and structure interaction, high performance computing, and grid computing.

				Yoshifumi received his M.E. in Architecture and Civil Engineering, B.A. in Architecture from <a href="http://www.waseda.jp/top/index-e.html" target="_next">Waseda University</a> in Japan, and M.S. in Statistics at Stanford University. Currently he is completing a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering.
