White Eye is one of the most common birds in the cities. They adapt the man-made world extremely well and can be easily found in a metropolitan area like Taipei City. The Chinese name of White Eye means braided eyes, describing the white rings around the eye. The enhancing effect of the white eye rings make them look even cuter. The green color of their feathers come from the diet they consume, most likely from fruits with green or yellow color.
