Research Interests:

Using genomic approach to understand Mutator biology. We generated numerous trackable Mu-tagging maize mutant lines for high throughput gene tagging, sequencing and phenotyping. The strategy has been effective and successful. We are generating new lines of transgenic corn to better understand gene expression profiles through enhancer trap tagging and activation tagging.
