Thinly slice potatoes (no need to peel) and peeled garlic cloves. Place in the baking pan, add salt pepper and dill. Pour heavy cream to almost cover. Bake in 340 degree oven for about 2-3 hours. The longer you bake it, the better it is, but you can eat it once the potatoes are soft. If the top potatoes start to burn too fast, you can cover lightly with aluminum foil or baste them periodically with the heavy cream.
