Welcome,

Currently, I am a 2nd year Ph.D student in Stanford wave physics lab (SWP) at Stanford, under supervision of Professor Jerry M. Harris.

My previous work at Chinese Academy of Sciences is to compute the propagation of seismic wave in the complex media such as anisotropy due to the aligned fractures as well as the visco-elastic effects. I developed the time domain high-order finite-difference staggered-grid algorithm in visco-elastic anisotropic media with the Perfectly Match layer (PML) boundary condition.

At Stanford, I will conduct my research on seismic inversion problem. For the past year, my research were put on attenuation tomography through the similar technique that was used for velocity tomography. Presently, I involved in a project to develop such a joint inversion approach of integrating multi-physical data sets. e.g. simultaneously fitting the seismic data and gravity data with exterior constraints.
