Lake Merced
Well this page should actually be named "Mt. Clark",
however when Travis, Jim, and I set off from Little Yosemite Valley late
January 2001 the snow conditions were so jenghus we decided a leisurely
8 mile trek to Lake Merced would be preferable. Swimming in wet snow
up a 30 degree slope was not our idea of a cup of cocoa.
So here are some images from the trip. The sound
track to accompany them is "... I support your picture taking, but we should
not dilly-dally under this ice fall..."
