Homeland Security

More than a year ago the 9/11 Commissioners graded homeland security improvements since September 11th; their report card was riddled with D's and F's.

Since then, several events have reminded us that we cannot afford to ignore these failing grades. A proposal to sell our ports to a Dubai company called attention to the fact that we do not screen all cargo on ships and commercial airlines. Terrorist attacks on rail systems in Mumbai, following similar attacks in London and Madrid, killed hundreds of innocent civilians. Our British allies disrupted a plot to blow up airliners bound to the United States underscoring our vulnerability in the sky.

The war in Iraq

Tom Koos is a strong supporter of our military and wants America to celebrate the services of all of our proud, hardworking serivcemen and women with by supporting large homecoming parades for all those who have served in Iraq as soon as posssible.

The guiding priciple of the candidates position on Iraq is that our service personnel would in Iraq would better serve our great country by being home with family and friends at home and on their bases, preparing and training for future missions that our country will face.

TOM KOOS WANTS ALL OF OUR OUR TROOPS HOME WITHIN 100 HOURS OF TAKING OFFICE.

How would this be accomplished?

Tom Koos has visionary 4 step plan to accompish this bold goal:

1. Our troops would be packing up soon after the the elections in anticipation of returning home. The US would orgainze a massive airlift of our armed services personel out of the country in massive airlift.

2. All equipment and material left in Iraq by our troops would be packaged and shipped by the 100,000 or more contractors that we have on the ground.

3. Contractors would then complete their missions and come home.

4. Finally, I would recommend that an envoy of distingished dignitaries from the United States, those who were responsible for this proud achievement in American history visit Iraq for one last time. I would recommend all of those who served the current admisnistration who did not have the opportunity to serve our military in combat visit the country that they have liberated. As a sign of confidence of their success, they will walk the streets of Baghdad, unescorted, except for their families by there side. As a final thank you, I would reommend that our current president leave his credit card with the new administration in Baghdad, so that they may have a line of credit to work on rebuilding their counrty as they see fit. The accumulated debt will be thanklessly paid by future generations of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld offspring, in perpetuity.

Until that happens, Tom Koos supports his fellow candidate, Joe Biden's five point plan for Iraq.

A Five Point Plan for Iraq

1. Establish One Iraq, with Three Regions

2. Share Oil Revenues
3. Convene International Conference, Enforce Regional Non-Aggression Pact
4. Responsibly Drawdown US Troops
5. Increase Reconstruction Assistance and Create a Jobs Program
