Suggestions for Visits to Maui

    * Get some rubber slippers from Long’s in Kahului

    * Swim and sun bathe at Kapalua Bay - my favorite snorkeling beach

    * Snorkel Ahihi Kinau Bay early in the morning

    * Eat at Tasaka's Guriguri, Maui Mall - one ono ice-cream-ish snack

    * Drive to Hana with the Hana Casette Tour - (Uncle) Craig Henderson

    * Eat Komoda Bakery cream puffs in Makawao - Grandma's old work place

    * Pick up fresh malasadas at Home Maid Bakery in Wailuku

    * Have dinner at Longhi's in Lahaina

    * Go hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, exploring!

    * Whatever you do, do not spend your entire trip in tourist traps.

    * When you are in the beach water (no matter how shallow), NEVER turn your back to ocean.

    * Wear sunscreen. Reapply. Reapply. Reapply. Use aloe lotion if you burn.

    * When driving, if you want to sightsee (whale, waterfall, whatever), pull over.

    * When driving, thank or apologize to other drivers by waving with a shaka.
