E-Rhetoric Winter 2005 feedback

PWR2 E-Rhetoric - Winter 2005

Student feedback form

Please fill out the questions below, being as specific as possible. I'll be considering
your comments very carefully as I plan e-rhetoric for next quarter -- so in effect the fate of future
e-rhetoric students is in your hands (no pressure).

Name (Real name or Fictional persona name - both optional):

Section#:

A. What You Liked. Please discuss what worked best about the course -
in terms of the course's content, its teaching, or its fulfillment of the
PWR2 requirement. Please mention your absolute favorite assignment, reading, or
class exercise here as well.

B. What You Would Change. What would you change about the course for next
quarter if you could (within reason)? What would you have liked more of and what
would you have liked less of in the course?

C. Course Website. Any comments on the course website in terms of what worked
and what needs to be improved? Should I just use coursework?

D. Presentations. Please take a moment to reflect on your experience learning about
and delivering presentations. What worked, what didn't, what would you change, and how
would you change it? This is also a place to talk about the role of the OCTs in the course.

E. Technology. Any comments on the use of technology in the class -- and what you would
have liked more of and less of in that regard?

F. Workload. My sense is that with the addition of the midterm presentation, you might be
feeling that the workload for this course is too intense. Can you share any (constructive) ideas
for how to decrease the workload? One idea I have, for instance, is to eliminate the collaborate
webpage project -- though since that work takes place primarily in class, I'm not sure how much
good that would do. Considering the assignments, what would you suggest? Or do you feel the
workload is appropriate?

G. Final comments. Any parting thoughts? (Especially anything positive because after all the
critiques above I could probably use a pick-me-up)
