interested in creating oral presentations. It includes a wide variety

of American Public Address. “Douglass is an electronic
archive of American oratory and related documents.”

The Gettysburg PowerPoint Presentation. Dated 19 November
1863. This humorous reworking of Lincoln’s famous speech as
a PowerPoint presentation by Peter Norvig makes a powerful argument
about the dangers of PowerPoint and incited much discussion on- and
off-line. Be sure to follow the link to Norvig’s reflections
on making the presentation.

American Speeches. This Website contains “one of
the most comprehensive on-line collections of speech texts of contemporary
American History.” In many places, it contains video as well
as audio files.
