Please elaborate here:
Would you recommend PWR2 E-Rhetorics to your friends?
yes
no
Why or why not?
Please answer the questions below; to avoid redundancy, refer to earlier answers
where necessary. Also, where possible, try to avoid hitting "enter" until you're done filling
out the form since sometimes it makes the form submit itself prematurely. And, keep in mind:
specific commments are the most helpful.
1. Favorite Parts What were your favorite aspects of the class? Do you think there should
be more of this, or the same amount, in future e-rhetorics classes? More specifically, what were
your favorite class activities? Class assignments? Do you think there should be more of this, or
the same amount, in future e-rhetorics classes?
2. Needs Improvement What were the least effective aspects of the class? Should these
aspects be removed from the class or modified? If the latter, how should they be modified?
More specifically, which class activities do you think were the least effective? Which class
assignments? Should these be removed from the class or modified?
3. The Ideal PWR2 Describe your vision of how I should revise E-Rhetorics to make it
the best PWR2 course for future students. Specifics are good -- also be sure to include what
I shouldn't change as well as what I should.
4. Hypertext assignment Describe how the hypertext assignment could be formatted to be
as user-friendly as possible for students. Also, keeping in mind that this is a course about Rhetoric,
not web design, did you think that you felt too much pressure to learn webdesign programs? How can I
avoid that problem in the future and make students understand that we are focusing on e-rhetoric, not
learning to manipulate layers and templates in Dreamweaver?
5. Presentations Do you feel there was enough time in class spent on discussing
presentation technqiue? Would you like more or less time devoted to in-class discussions of this
subject? Would you like more practice sessions? More drafting? What could be done to make learning
oral presentation skills as user-friendly as possible for students?
6. Blogs Any suggestions about the blog assignment? Next time I teach this class, I'm considering
having students comment on each other's blogs 2-3 times during the quarter. What do you think of that idea?
Do you anticipate keeping up with your blog after this quarter?
7. OCTS Any comments about the OCTs and how they interacted with you inside and outside the
classroom? Any suggestions for using the OCTs in a more effective manner? If you have any comments
you'd like me to pass along to the OCTs themselves (since they don't get any other student feedback),
please preface them with TO THE OCTS:
8. Learning. What would you have liked to have learned that you didn't learn?
9. Final Comments. Any final comments?
