As Layout Manager for Montana Tech's campus newspaper, I was in charge of designing every issue. I was also in charge of the overall look of the paper, which I completely redesigned twice in the three semesters I worked there.

For my Business Writing class I created this business plan for a fictional ice cream parlor franchise called Scrumptious Scoops. The interesting aspect of this document was that it had to serve both as a business plan and as a marketing tool to potential investors—a delicate balance that I think it achieves admirably.

For my Publications Design class, a partner and I developed this player's guide for a locally-invented board game. We learned to play the game, then applied the knowledge we'd gained in class to create a user-friendly guide.
