Winter 2006:  The group project in Computer Vision was given a three second video clip of a highway, predict which areas on the screen would contain cars three seconds later.  Our solution used a Haar classifier with post processing to detect the cars in still images.  Then, the detected cars in successive frames were matched with their counterparts throughout the clip.  A Kalman filter was implemented to track and predict the position of the cars in the future.
