Overview of Quadratic Gaussian CEO Problem
(Multi-User Information Theory)
Fall
2006: For the course in multi-user information theory, I studied
the quadratic Gaussian CEO problem. The problem involves CEO that
attempts to recreate a signal only from knowledge gained through a number of
independently corrupted and encoded observations of the sequence. I
presented the capacity region for the problem and established its
achievability, which relies upon Gaussian quantization, Slepian-Wolf coding,
and optimal linear estimation.
