computational fluid dynamics (CFD), compressible flow, turbulent mixing, combustion modeling, flow instability, transition and control of turbulent flows.

My current research focuses on the detailed physical understanding of compressible turbulent mixing and combustion using large-eddy simulation (LES) and the developing high-order discontinuity capturing numerics.
