We want our students to be safe. Many drivers are not obeying safe driving rules. Please review these rules to make sure you understand them. They have been developed for the safety of all our students.

THE FOLLOWING RULE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO: KEEP LEFT LANE CLEAR, DO NOT STOP (DO form two lines on entering the campus, to keep traffic-backup off Charleston.) DO use kindergarten drop-off in the mornings only for kindergarten children or carpools with a kindergarten child. All children in car may unload with a kinder to prevent two unloading events. (DO allow both lanes to merge back together at the back corner (by the kindergarten playground.)) DO drop-off of other grades' students and all pickup at main drop-off area by office (opposite rooms 1-8.) DO let your child off at the curb and move forward. DO stay in your car and keep moving forward. DO obey traffic crossing monitors. Do drive carefully. DO park in designated spaces only. DO walk, bike or carpool when you can. DO set a good example. |

DO NOT let your child in or out in the second lane from the curb. DO NOT leave your car in the loading zone for ANY reason. DO NOT walk across the street EXCEPT at the MARKED CROSSWALKS. DO NOT use the kindergarten gate when you are late. Go to the office drop-off area and get a late slip DO NOT TURN LEFT on to our site from Charleston. DO NOT TURN LEFT leaving our site from 7 to 9 AM. Please also read the Police Chief's letter on general traffic safety issues, recently sent home. |
