ABOUT ME
I'm a 5th year graduate student in the Biomedical Informatics program at Stanford, working in Russ Altman's lab. My research is oriented towards structure-based protein function prediction and protein function annotation; I have focused on phosphorylation site prediction in the past and have also dabbled in biological pathway visualization. In my spare time, I enjoy Ultimate Frisbee, cooking, photography, making music, drawing pictures, hot glue guns, and beating people at Boggle. Recently, I've discovered the community of open science enthusiasts and science bloggers, and am currently maintaining my own blog which discusses topics mostly related to science and the practice of science.
