Welcome to Self-Directed Instruction of Family Relationships in Persian.

         Course Info.  Lesson 1Lesson 2  \ Lesson 3Final Assignment
Pre-requisite

READ THIS PART FIRST: Are you ready to teach yourself about Family Relationships in Persian? Keep in mind, the idea of this self-directed instruction is not necessarily to memorize all the family relations in Persian, but to know at least most of them in order to figure out a way to find out about others that makes sense.

This self-directed instruction provides you with basic communicative skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You’ll learn how to write, read and speak Persian from the very beginning. Although the explanations and hints of the lessons are comprehensive enough to let you learn the words correctly, some very short recorded sounds are inserted in the appropriate places to help you correct your pronunciations through listening, if necessary. These all can be satisfactory enough to help you get your career in gear even if you know nothing at all about Persian language.

In the Family Relationships section of this Persian course you will learn the relations with an emphasis on communicative and interactive multimedia activities. Moreover, this will provide examples of the differences of using the words uncle, aunt, and cousin in Persian vs. the English language. The course is based on a fully integrated multimedia program (PDF file, video clip, audio, DVD, and website exploration).

This course focuses on practical language skills that will enable you to describe or to ask questions about your or someone else’s family members.

Please try to finish the instruction and follow the lessons step by step.

To find a word that is used in this course just click on the Dictionary word. Then type your word in the place provided, after that hit Persian or English.
