Bamboo
Raft
drift on river ink
up between bamboo planks
take me, spirits plink
wet shoes, water flows
through massive caverns, the heart
how the blind fish shows
a sense of movement,
how the water pipes play, let me
forget where I am
I did not plan this
I did not plan
the lantern bonfires
lit by someone else, nor your
bare bats or silk spiders
unspelling the dark,
the cold amber drops break free from
stalactite quark
take me to the open
ending, cave mouth green and lush
etched in memory
invisible bird song
invisible bird
